The Microloan Program strengthens communities by training people to operate savings & loan cooperatives, wherever the Episcopal Church is present.

This program offers its participants, especially women and their families, loans for small businesses, for personal needs or for refinancing existing loans. The microloan, as an alternative to existing financial structures, also helps ameliorate discrimination and poverty.

Many single mother in rural communities

worry about:

--Jobs

--Food

--Poor health and hygienie

--Education for their kids

--Low self esteem and depression.

These problems affects not only the women, but also the men.   Both want access to credit at low interest rates, so that they can invest in their own small business,  generate more income for  their families and  improve their living conditions.

Vision:

We pray that every person, which we serve, will be able to see herself/himself as created in God’'s image with value, dignity and purpose.  At the same time, we want everyone to experience hope for herself/himself, her/his family and her/his community.
